Day 1: Crescent City, CA

Weather: "wet air", reminds me of biking in Holland, its not raining but you get soaking wet.
Errands: Bought white gas, food for lunch and good information from NPS about good roads for biking.
Tonight: Nickel Creek Wilderness Camp Site
Tomorrow Night: Prairie Creek, Elk Prairie Camp Ground

Morning!

We arrived in crescent city at around 7pm (PCT), and then it took us several hours to get the bikes together, so it was really late (CET!) by the time we actually got on the road. Luckily a nice guy we met in the airport offered us his backyard for the night, just 1-2 miles from the airport!

So far so good. Equipment is working, bikes and tents, just two tired and hungry campers.

Next stop: coffee!

The FOG of travel

...Seems to be slowing us down.
And I'm not talkin' about my sleep deprivation either - we are still in SFO waiting for our flight to Crescent City, due to fog.
Looks like we'll be biking in the dark, today, with only "little" front lights.
Bummer.
