Now we're ... eating again.
Thought about my friends Bobbie and Vanessa today, biking through Huntington Beach! (Not that either of them are there anymore; moved on. And not because of all the "nodding donkeys", although it does feel like nap time now...)
This is Don (Huntington Beach). Glad you guys made it safely through Laguna Beach (I had that stretch of road also, I have refused to ride in that area for almost 15yrs now. You will have smooth sailing after San Clemente, you can ride on portions of the freeway or through Camp Pendleton (I would suggest Camp Pendleton). Great riding from Oceanside on PCH through Carlsbad, Encinitas etc until you get to Torrey Pines. Then it is uphill, but ride on the other side going downhill into San Diego, La Jolla etc is great.
