March 1st we started a 3+ month tour in Northern California heading south, then east, and then north back home. We'd love company, so come join us for a section!

Ah! Nothing satisfies
Like a Newport!
And a big can of light beer, of course, John O and Mere P!
I never liked beer before my x-country. Riding in the heat all day does create a need for C-O-L-D beverage. My friends introduced me to beer. On a hot day, even now, it is a nice treat. (But I keep it to hot days and once-in-awhile!) Continue to enjoy your adventure, and thanks for the great posts so we can follow you two! I hope Arizona is kind to you (traffic and weather!)

Day off today; hope our bikes and tent are not melting out there in the sun and heat. We're hiding in the shade, in a Bingo hall - no joke!
